How Do I Book With Puppy Luv?
Once you have created a profile in our booking system, book services online anytime, day or night. You may also reach out by phone or email.
What Are Your Hours?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Visits run 7 AM to 11 PM every day, with overnight pet sitting available.
How Do You Meet With Us?
Schedule either a virtual or in-person consultation to discuss different plans, answer your questions, and meet your pet.
What If I Need To Cancel Or Reschedule?
Plans change, and we understand. Simply notify us at least 24 hours in advance for general services, or 48 hours in advance for pet sitting and boarding, to avoid cancellation fees.

What Kind Of Pet Services Do You Provide?
We offer dog walking, pet sitting, dog grooming, overnight boarding, and drop-ins. We also do pet taxi rides, custom meals, and even host pet-friendly events. If it helps you and your pet, there is a good chance we do it.
What’s Included In A Walk?
Each walk includes GPS-verified check-in and check-out, photos and sometimes video, a potty break, play time, and a full visit summary emailed to you. You will always know how it went, even if you are miles away.
Do I Have To Be Home For Grooming Or Pet Sitting?
No. For pet sitting, we work with the access method you prefer: building concierge, doorman, lockbox, or a hidden key location. For grooming, drop off at your building's on-site pet spa, or add valet pickup and drop-off. Many of our clients are at work or traveling during their pet's appointment.
How Do I Get Updates While You're With My Pet?
After every visit, you receive a detailed report by email or in your online booking portal: a text or email alert at check-in and check-out with a GPS map of both, photos and sometimes video, and notes on your pet’s mood, behavior, and anything we want to flag. You never have to wonder how the visit went.
Do You Care For Cats Or Other Pets Too?
Yes, we care for cats, small animals, and aquariums. We also offer plant watering as an add-on for travelers and vacation clients. Just ask when booking.

Are You Insured And Bonded?
Yes. Puppy Luv is insured and bonded, and every team member is background-checked before their first visit.
Is It Safe To Give You A Key To My House?
Yes, we are pawsitively trustworthy! Every employee undergoes an extensive criminal background, credit, and identity check through ADP Screening and Selection Services. We employ only trustworthy, upstanding pet lovers.
Will My Dog Always Have The Same Walker Or Sitter?
Consistency matters. We do our best to assign the same caregiver so your pet forms a real bond. If your regular walker or sitter is not available, we will let you know and send a trusted backup.
What If My Regular Walker Is Sick Or On Vacation?
Because we are a team, not a solo operator or gig app, we always have backup coverage. We will let you know in advance whenever possible, and the backup walker will be a trusted team member who has been briefed on your pet's preferences. Your pet's care never stops because of one person's schedule.
How Is Puppy Luv Different From Rover Or Wag?
Every Puppy Luv walker, sitter, and groomer is a W-2 employee, not a gig contractor. This means consistent training, ongoing accountability, real backup coverage when life happens, and a real relationship with our team rather than a different stranger every visit. Gig apps work well for one-off bookings, while Puppy Luv is built for residents who want consistent, professional care from the same trusted team.
Do You Care For Pets With Medical Or Behavioral Needs?
Yes! Whether it is medication, special diets, mobility issues, or anxiety, give us the details and we will make sure your pet is in good hands.
What If There's An Emergency During A Visit?
We will contact you immediately. If we do not reach you, we will follow your emergency contact instructions, transport your pet to your preferred vet if needed, and stay with your pet until you are reached.

Do You Partner With My Apartment Building?
We are the preferred pet amenity at luxury apartment communities managed by JBG Smith, Bozzuto, and Greystar across the DMV. Specific buildings include The Bartlett, Carlyle Crossing, The Latitude, Theory DC, and many more. If your building is one of our partners, you may qualify for new resident perks including Intro Week walking and a complimentary first grooming upgrade.
Where Does Puppy Luv Operate?
We serve Northern Virginia and Washington DC, specifically Arlington, Alexandria, Washington DC, Tysons, and Fairfax County. We are constantly expanding. If you do not see your city or building listed, reach out and let us know.

What Does Puppy Luv Cost?
Pricing varies by service. Dog walks start at $22, grooming packages start at $80, and pet sitting starts at $85 per day. Monthly walking clubs and daily boarding rates are also available. See full pricing for current rates. Your first vacation care invoice includes a welcome credit.
Do You Accept Tips?
Tips are welcome but never expected. Every tip goes directly to your caregiver.
